In a world of unending wars, a faltering economy, incompetent leaders and too many reality television shows, I can take comfort in the fact that my music listening habits will be more accurately tracked now that I have ordered an iPod Touch.
That’s right, I can now rest easy knowing that not only am I trendy and cool, but I will no longer lay awake at night wondering how far off my track counts are because I have no way of tracking them while I am driving. Yes, those days are gone forever thanks to Apple. Not only do they offer innovative and completely awesome products, but they also provide peace of mind and that, my friends, is well worth the price tag.
I stayed up way too late last night doing pretty much nothing. I did however add the sweet calendar graphic that you see on the left. That’s right, no more boring text to let you know what date I posted something. I created the graphic in Inkscape (what a great application THAT is) and then through a little trial and error with css, I got everything to line up. At least on my browser anyway.
I also added some more pictures to the photo page. And a new background.
I just added in some photos from my all-time favorite vacation. We started out in extreme eastern Oklahoma and ended at the Grand Canyon, taking what was left of Route 66 along the way. We took over 800 pictures, but don’t worry, I didn’t post anywhere near that many.
Thanks to the Economic Stimulus Package so kindly given to us in order to distract us from…. well, I won’t go into that, but I did use the money to buy a king size bed, and not just any bed, but one of those memory foam suckers. After putting it in place, I realized our old headboard was woefully inadequate, so I built a new one out of stuff I had lying around the house.
