All Hail Eli

June 30, 2008

I know the Super Bowl was almost a week ago and I am just now getting around to writing about it, but that’s because I am still basking in the glow, the sweet warm glow, of the Patriots defeat.

Those cheaters almost cheated their way to becoming the second ever undefeated team, just like they cheated their way to their first Super Bowl win in Super Bowl 36. Thanks to Eli, who I shall refer to from this point forward as Unstoppable Eli the Magnificent, I do not have to suffer through the rest of my life knowing that the Patriots went undefeated. I can now go about being happy and carefree, following my new favorite quarterback, Unstoppable Eli the Magnificent, and dancing the dance of a thousand joys. At least until the start of next season, at which point Unstoppable Eli the Magnificent will then slip to the number two spot, just behind Kurt Warner, who the Patriots cheated out of a second Super Bowl ring because they are cheaters, dirty filthy cheaters who like to cheat all the time.

This probably goes without saying, but I would really like to punch the Patriots right in their collective neck.
