That’s right, I fixed some things. Some things related to this site as a matter of fact. First of all, I upgraded to WordPress 3.0, then I fixed the lingering issue I have had with the galleries not working with the cool thickbox effect but instead a giant turd of an effect called shutter or some similarly lame moniker. But that’s all behind us now. Go ahead, click on one of those images to the left or go to the Photos page and behold the aesthetic wonder of thickbox. Now that I think of it, that name is pretty lame too.
I changed the navigation bar at the top of the page. I’m not sure that alone warrants a new post, so I will also include this picture of a cat eating my fingers.
I stayed up way too late last night doing pretty much nothing. I did however add the sweet calendar graphic that you see on the left. That’s right, no more boring text to let you know what date I posted something. I created the graphic in Inkscape (what a great application THAT is) and then through a little trial and error with css, I got everything to line up. At least on my browser anyway.
I also added some more pictures to the photo page. And a new background.
I just added in some photos from my all-time favorite vacation. We started out in extreme eastern Oklahoma and ended at the Grand Canyon, taking what was left of Route 66 along the way. We took over 800 pictures, but don’t worry, I didn’t post anywhere near that many.
